Topmind's feathers are so fluffed that the black SC justice is actually an "it" and a DEI hire

I really liking book two so far.

I have about 6 hours left on the audiobook, and while I have heard where people are coming from with their complaints of it being tonally flat and a bit dry, I'm really getting some questions answered and more are being asked- and I'm getting the same feeling I got in the expanse books with excitement, looking forward to each POV swap. I just hope the story is fleshed out and has a satisfying conclusion. I feel like we've taken so long to get to where we are, but I also know that, as a reader, I'm naturally impatient. I'm finding this series far less frustrating to read then shadow of the torturer, which I just finished before reading faith of beasts, so I could be a bit biased at the moment. Overall, thank you Daniel and Ty!

Top minds frenzy themselves up into another patriotic challenge that Dems need to be quieted by force after getting mad at a tiktok trend (tiktok, an international app that also somehow represents all Dems)
