Hi all, I will be visiting Jalandhar later this week for one day. Need suggestions on a couple of things -

What are some must visit places that I can cover in half a day? Also, any food recommendations from specific restaurants?
From what I know, Jalandhar is a textile manufacturing hub - I’d like to see and hopefully purchase something interesting that I would probably not see or will be expensive back home in Mumbai.
Any particular areas that I should stay in so that shopping places, restaurants, tourists spots are accessible?
