People who love living in Jalandhar... why? I'm genuinely asking

Maybe it's just me, but does anyone else feel Jalandhar has almost no vibe left?

Like honestly... explore karan layi bacha hi ki aa? Once you've been around Model Town, a few cafés and the usual spots, bas. Every weekend starts feeling like a repeat of the last one.

The social scene feels even weirder. Meeting new people is already hard, and talking to a girl you don't know? Idk why, but it still feels like people look at you as if you've committed some crime. 😭 Dating apps vi ithon te almost dead ne.

Then there's the drug scene. Bohot jagah chhote-chhote munde vi nashe karde nazar aa jande ne, and honestly it's sad to see. Sometimes it feels like everyone knows it's happening, but nothing really changes.

No hate towards the city. I grew up here, so maybe I'm just too used to it... or maybe I'm looking at Jalandhar the wrong way.

So people who actually enjoy living here...
What do you guys do for fun?
Where do you meet new people?
Are there any hidden spots, communities or events that most of us don't know about?

Genuinely curious because right now Jalandhar just feels like a city where people exist... but don't really live. Am I the only one feeling this, ya tussi vi same boat ch ho?

Any Fifa World Cup Match Screenings?

I've been thinking about this for a long time. We have so many billiards and pool parlours, cafés, and hangout spots, but almost no places doing proper football match screenings.

I genuinely think a café or any decent space could do good business with late-night football screenings. It's great for socialising too. It honestly sucks when there's a huge match on and you're celebrating your team's win alone at home with no banter, no reactions, and nobody to share the moment with.

This culture is pretty mainstream in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Pune, so why can't we build something similar here?

Honestly, all it takes is a TV or projector, some drinks and snacks, and a common place to sit and watch the game together. We see so many people around wearing football jerseys, supporting different clubs and countries, but we never really connect with each other.

Would anyone be interested in building something like this together? I think it could turn into a really fun football community.

Kidney Life Hospital Jalandhar.

My dad is getting treatment there for CKD and there doesn't seem to be much improvements. The doctor barely talks about anything and hands a prescription and let us go. I thought a kidney speciality hospital will have better treatment and improvement would be significant but I'm quite disappointed. Just want to ask if we should consider DMC Ludhiana or continue here?
