Just wanting to Inform people of my iron infusion experience. I had my first Venofer infusion on September 29th. No problems after. Second one was yesterday (October 9th). Before leaving I asked if they did the saline and they said no. They only do that if someone had an allergic type reaction to the first one. I said ok that’s fine then. (First mistake). Stood up and legs felt weird but figured it was from them not being elevated. Got home and my pants felt too tight. They were itchy and was hard to bend my ankles.

Had my infusion in right arm but left side of body was worse. Checked 15 min later and the swelling moved to my left knee and hives started forming going up my legs. I was convinced it was moving up my body and my throat was next. So then had a panic attack. Took some benedryl and survived.

This morning it’s still hard to bend my left knee and ankle but improved since yesterday. Unsure if I want to do the 3rd infusion. Just want people to be aware! No problem the first time and no allergies except to nickel! But second time was a little scary.

Can anyone help with these abbreviations? It’s been driving me crazy trying to figure out. It’s for the marines and the names with these abbreviations are all under the transfer list from the recruit battalion to the training center infantry battalion. My great grandpa has SS along with a few others.

Is this a hand ball? I know technically it is, but do you call it when the ball hits your hand instead of your hand hitting the ball? The foul led to a goal by the other team which was the winning goal. Just unfortunate.
