[PAID] Looking to hire a 3D prop artist to create stylized typewriters

Hello, I'm a solo developer building a first-person game that prominently features typewriters. They are essentially the focus of the entire game. I tried looking on various marketplaces for a model, but I couldn't find anything I like or that was built to animate.

Ultimately, I'd like several vintage manual typewriters, but I'll probably begin with just one for the demo I'd like to build. Specifically, I'd like the first typewriter to be a stylized (not photoreal) version of the Olivetti Lettera 32.

I don't need rigs or animations. All I need is for every key (~50) to have its own named transform, for the carriage assembly to be separate so it can slide, for the platen to be separate so it can roll, and the ribbon spools to be separate so they can spin.

The deliverable is the FBX plus source files for Unity, with textures up to 2K. My budget for this is $200–400.

If this work interests you, you can send me a DM with a portfolio of your work and a rough quote and I'll get back to you as quickly as possible.

Best,

[HIRING] Pixel artist for tactical roguelite in need of character sprites, environment, structures and obstacles

Hi all,

I'm a solo dev working on a 2D topdown tactical roguelite where you control a herd of pigs freeing other pigs and taking down their enemies, the ranchers. The game is still in development but is mostly feature-complete. I'm targeting early 2027 for an early access release of the game on Steam.

I'm hiring a pixel artist to redo the game's characters, and environment.

What I'm looking for:

  • 8 or 9 rancher variants (idle and 8-direction walks, probably 6 frames per direction, and a couple of character-specific animations)
  • 9 pig variants (same animation set)
  • Two distinct tile sets (one typical ranching environment, one hellish underworld)
  • 13 pickup item sprites
  • UI elements (badges, cards, frames)
  • Structures and props (slaughterhouse, pens, altars, barrels, destructibles)

Art direction:

I'm still working out the art direction and am open to suggestion, but I'm looking for a blend between Cult of the Lamb's cartoonish rendering with dark themes and the crisp, warm art of Stardew Valley. I'd like true 2D pixel art at 64×64 character scale. I have some pretty basic placeholder art that I made for the development stage and can share with you if you're selected for the paid trial commission.

My budget:

My total project budget right now is around $5k, although if I can generate enough interest in the game, then I will likely expand the scope and add more art.

How you can apply:

Please reply in comments or DM with the following:

  • Link to your portfolio (please include at least one example of a top-down character sprite work, a walk cycle animation, and a warm-palette piece)
  • Your rates for the asset categories above
  • Your typical turnaround per character set
  • Your availability over the next 3-6 months
  • Confirmation you can do commercial-use commissions with rights transfer

Please do not send AI-generated art. I could generate art myself, but I want to hire a real person with real taste/aesthetic sensibility.

What will happen next:

I'll shortlist 3-5 artists from the responses and ask them for a paid trial commission of one rancher variant and possibly one pig variant (~$50-100 each) to confirm style fit. From there, I'll select an artist and we'll move to a milestone-based batch commission.

Thanks for your time!
