The Empire used to rule ten thousand worlds.

It was an alliance between humans and alien civilizations, held together by a machine Emperor who ruled for thousands of years with remarkable fairness. Then something corrupted it. The Empire shattered, thousands of worlds were lost, and what remains is now trying to put itself back together.

Every year, the Empire holds the Reclamation. One lost sector is selected, and competing LANCER teams are sent in to take it back from whatever currently owns it: alien lifeforms, pirate kings and queens, separatists, or whatever else has made the planet home.

This is a LL0 game, with the potential of going up to LL12 depending on how long it lasts. We'll discuss which sector we as a group will reclaim first as each of them will give unique foes and unique chances for subterfuge and politics which this game will be full of. We will use Foundry for ease.

It is said that long ago, the 7 Holy Saints cast out the demons that once ruled the world into an endless pit. It would not be until thousands of years later that humanity discovered it was, in fact, not endless. A gateway to Hell at the center of the Known World opened, and an endless tide of demons came pouring forth, clambering over the corpses of their dead brethren to reclaim their throne.

You aren't part of the armies of the 7 Holy Saints. You are instead scum and villainy found rotting in a prison cell. In exchange for your freedom and a wage, you have agreed to serve under the government and investigate the recent disappearances in the distant town of Malkovia.

Hello all, it is I, people call me M, but you can call me anything as long as it's respectful, I've consumed TTRPGs primarily in the form of text, now looking to start a 3-part campaign beginning with investigating the sewers of Malkovia. I've recently had great success running a Mork Borg campaign in its own setting so now I've decided to homebrew something of my own.

I'm expecting roughly 1 post/48 hours, I understand life happens and if you can't post every day that's totally fine, but after 2 days I will start pinging you. I also enjoy OOC banter so I will try to align timezones as best I can (I am personally in GMT+7 as of right now, usually I'm in EST).

We will discuss whether we can use some of the 3rd party/1st party supplements once we get together.
