On this day one year ago: Heated Rivalry, shoot day number 19 (allegedly) 📸 Sabrina Lantos
All pictures taken by Sabrina Lantos. Find them here: https://www.sabrinalantos.com/heated-rivalry. Images also belong to Warner Bros/HBO Max.
On this day one year ago, Heated Rivalry was allegedly on its nineteenth shoot day! This analysis is for all of you who enjoy behind the scenes content, and are feeling the Heated Rivalry drought.
The scenes pictured are relayed to the tuna meltdown. Since we know they block shot things and based on other evidence presented by the Tumblr user, it’s safe to assume that the gym scene from episode 1 was shot around the same day (the hotel gym is in fact the gym in the house they used for Ilyas house). Realistically speaking, they seem to have spent 2 days or so shooting at the house.
They also shot the scenes where Ilya watches Shane’s documentary about the cottage, Svetlana and Ilya in bed talking about the All Star game, and when Ilya returns home from the airport and the scenes from the Stanley cup final. Well, just all the scenes from Ilyas house, to be exact!
Thanks to Tumblr user Hollandar for sharing the insights on which days each BTS pic was taken and pairing it with existing BTS pics labeled with the shoot day. I did the time stamps for each episode but you can review their post here to get more insight: https://www.tumblr.com/hollandar/814791203804594176/heated-rivalry-filming-days

'Criminal Minds: Evolution' Boss Reveals How Connor Storrie's Performance Led to Big Change: he will be in FOUR episodes, instead of the original plan of one! He’s just that good.
”First of all, we met Connor in Episode 4 and it was directed by Adam Rodriguez and he read for us. And so we were like, ‘Who’s this guy? He’s great. We love him.’ And he was only supposed to be in Episode 4 and he was so good that we were like, ‘No, he’s going to have a bigger role than we thought,'” Criminal Minds: Evolution showrunner Erica Messer tells TV Insider.
Instead of just the one episode, Storrie will now be in four of the 10 episodes of Season 19, which premieres on Thursday, May 28.
This was before any of us knew what his fall preview would be of Heated Rivalry,” Messer stresses. “He’s just so good — not only crazy talented, but so kind, so funny, so wonderful to have on set. So, it was one of those things that we kind of adjusted the back half of the season to have his character have more agency in the story we were telling because he was so good.

“GO INSIDE THE ‘HEATED RIVALRY’ COTTAGE” via Variety
“@airbnb invited Variety’s Anna Tingley to stay a night inside the real-life cottage featured in the final episode of #HeatedRivalry. The nine-room Barlochan Cottage is located in Torrance, Ontario, featuring nearly 400 feet of private waterfront to enjoy the area’s famous sunsets on Lake Muskoka. While the cottage typically rents for $15,000 to $19,000 a week, it’ll likely be listed for at least $25,000 or more for future months.”

Article about Hudson on Gold House 8 APIs Up Next in Entertainment List
Can I just say: I wish I was as wise and grounded as Hudson seems to be right now, back when I was his age.
”Variety has announced its 2026 list of 8 API Up Next in Entertainment. The annual list curated in collaboration with Gold House celebrates Asian Pacific Islanders across entertainment and highlights rising global talent. The group comprises visionaries making strides in their respective fields — from actors and directors to agents and executives.”
”His latest project is a collection of short films titled “Runaways.” “The inspiration was to find my directing voice, along with my collaborator Zac [Fonzovs], by taking influence from other filmmakers and using micro-short films as the device to explore one single theme and style,” he tells Variety.”
