much has been said about the dificulties around taking sarcasm as literal. Which i definitely have issues with, but how about teasing?
I for one get very confused and often frustrated with teasing, even if the person was just trying to be playful and not trying to be mean.

Just wanted to see my family doctor. Online appointments listed the next available one to be MONTHS away... So I call the number to make appointment and get an answering service which sent a message to the doctor's office to call me back... and now here I sit. Just waiting and anticipating...
But back to the topic at hand. anyone else basically have their entire day paralyzed after being put into the position of having to wait for a phone call?
