Analysis on The Future’s perspective in Tenet

Firstly a fundamental fact: what’s done is done. The future can’t do an ’assassinate the Hitler’ type of operation to revert the damage done on their environment, which is why they fought the war in TENET. It‘s a uniform decision by the Future, because it was what had to be done. There is no choice.

Which is why on the phone, either the Protagonist or Sator said that this was a war between generations. Tenet probably got to the female scientist that created the device somehow and compromised her, such that the Algorithm was split into pieces and sent backwards in time.

Secondly, what does the Algorithm really do? It sets the universe in reverse. The Algorithm destroying everything is just a theory, which is hinted by the Oppenheimer analogy. Oppenheimer feared that a nuclear explosion might destroy the whole world, which didn’t happen. The most likely scenario is that people in the present just won’t be able to move forward in time, without even realizing It, and the future would be able to live in decreasing entropy, however weird that may be.

This movie really deserved a second watch

when I saw it in cinema, I completely missed Sator’s part of the dialogue about oceans rising and rivers running dry. It provides a ton of motivation for the Future. Before this rewatch I really thought they were just crazy and wanted to destroy the universe.

Watched Tenet again and caught on Sator's comment

Two groups of people live in the future and Sator's comment gives us more information about the side opposite of Tenet. Tenet and the scientist believes that activating the algorithm will bring destruction, but Neten believes that by inverting the time they (who also will be inverted) will have a chance to live in an inhabitable planet once again. I don't know if this is a common theory, but it certainly explains why the future would try to destroy the past. They're not trying to destroy the past, they're trying to destroy the people in the past, so they can live in reverse.

Is it everyone's experience that this game has gotten more difficult for higher MMR group's?

I'm a long time legend, currently ranked around top 2000, and I watch a lot of other top10 players stream, this season has only been easier for my perspective. I constantly queue against gold or silver players, and so do the top 10 players.

I'm not saying this to defend the current system, I just don't believe it's harder than the last. If anything, I advise anyone still trying to enjoy the game to stay AWAY from the ranking system. There is no enjoyment in keeping a win streak for scores of games, only to lose all your progress after one unlucky run.

If you played the bazaar before it came on steam, the game might be stealing 10 GB of your disk space.

Just found out today that under C/Users/Administrator/AppData/Roaming, the folder titled TEMPO LAUNCHER BETA is still taking up nearly 10 gigabytes of my disk space. Deleting it had no impact on launching the game from steam.

I finished the game and now I'm doing Mr Impossible's orders. I need a sticky gun to get the cargo off the tracklayer, but I'm just now realizing that I don't have one(never bothered to unlock The Bokka, due to being lazy).
