Codfish GBC2026 Showcase

I am probably gonna get a lot of hate and pushback for this…
If you listen to his showcase from a technical standpoint, his structure was sloppy and I feel experimental. The issues I saw were inconsistencies in some of the drums, timing issues, and sound slips. And although not necessarily a “bad” thing, he sounded unprepared. In part 2, he was building a lot of suspense with a bunch of half routines thrown together and it gave off the impression that he was trying to see what the crowd would respond to.
He is very established at this point of beatbox, clearly. I just noticed that this was the first performance of his I’ve seen noticeable issues with. Sure it’s just a showcase and he wasn’t battling but I felt it was just sloppy. Apart from that, it was super enjoyable and fun to listen to.
I’m pointing this out because he’s supposed to have a showcase and a fantasy battle in GBB. I really hope he prepares a bit better to make his performance top notch.
I’ve only noticed these critiques in these 2 specific videos. It kind of reminded of Reeps One in the Spacetime Legends battles. Not “bad” just experimental in the structure. Back in the day Sxin & Chezame reacted to a few of those battles and described Reeps to have routines that weren’t satisfying.
I’m prepared for the hate, just wanted to express and maybe even respectfully debate to hear other perspectives.

New to Loopstation

I’m pretty new to watching loopstation. Like over the last 6 months I watched as many loop station videos as I could. I kinda understand how it works, kinda?
Like MB14’s rounds against Saro seem so authentic and like natural sounding.
How does looping work now? How do they make sounds? How tf did Martin Benati counter Mahiro with his Megalodon beat? Did Martin create that beat on the spot? Did he already have it saved somehow? Or even at the beginning of Dice’s rounds in GBB25, how did he start off his beat with a complex melody without touching the buttons very much? I just need some explanations cause idk how it works. Please help :)

Madox & Pepouni? The videos Madox and B-Art made about swissbeatbox are removed. I wonder if they’ll go public about what happened.

(25) from scrawny, to chubby, to fit and healthy

120lbs->200lbs->165lbs
(just proud of all the progress and changes. I’m graceful in not feeling like that “scrawny” kid everyone picked on. I don’t mean to show off or anything, just want to share this journey. All I did was pick up the fork and work out a bit. All it really takes, along with a lot of researching and reading on diet and fitness)

Blackroll vs. D-Low

I know this is going to sound CRAZY… which round wins the battle…

D-Lows 2nd round against Colaps in GBB19 or Blackrolls round against Exallos in FBB25? I know the context is completely different but I love the crowd control in both. The battle styles, the attitude, the dynamic, everything, I love it.

Weird solo battles lol

Hey all.. for some reason, I’ve always thought these battles would be kinda sick but I also don’t know how it would go and what the probability of the outcomes would be.

(I’ve thought about these for a long time)

  1. ZVD vs. Blackroll
  2. King Inertia vs. Codfish

(Newer thoughts of mine)
3. Boyette vs. Crythix
4. Abo Ice vs. Kaji
5. Julard vs. Napom

Just want to hear yalls thoughts :)
