Bell trying to get me on 2 year contract for Internet?

Hi all,

I just got off the phone with Bell because they keep increasing my bill once again.

After talking to their loyalty department they said the only thing they can offer is a low locked in rate with a 2 year contract.

When I asked about cancellation of the contract she said there would be fees for the amount of months remaining of the contract.

I thought we got rid of those contract fees already? Is that still a thing, or did they find a loophole to get people hooked on contracts again?

I'm pretty annoyed right now because I'm getting the same Internet service I got 10 years ago just for even more money. Where I live there is no good alternative to Bell unfortunately.

Old roots a problem for pool?

Hi all,

I'm just prepping the ground for our 20ft Intex XTR and I'm finding a lot of old decayed roots when pulling up the grass.

Turns out the neighbors used to have a huge tree right at the edge of the property, so a lot of the roots came into my yard.

I'm also limited by our septic field, so moving it somewhere else is not an option.

Do I just rip them all out and fill with new soil? From what I understand I shouldn't add any soil and just dig down because of settling. If I keep digging down I guess I'll just keep finding more roots.
