Chapter One: How It Started

I knew he was married.

That wasn’t a secret. I knew from the beginning, and somehow, I still had no idea what I was walking into.

When we first met, I never imagined he would become such a huge part of my life. I thought I understood the situation. I thought I knew the boundaries. I thought I could keep my feelings separate from it.

I was wrong.

Because what started as something I told myself would be simple slowly became something I couldn’t walk away from.

And if I’m being honest, that was only the beginning.
