Just a few more days till I can properly get back into beam. My graphics card gave up on me so I’m replacing that soon. It should get delivered in a few days and I’m rather excited for it.

When I get back to it, I’m going to try my hand at the world editor again. I want to implement destructible world objects somehow. I have done some mild research and it does seem possible, but it’s apparent that it’s incredibly resource heavy.

Do you think or know if this is a feature planned for the vanilla game in the future? I would assume so with the engine being ‘capable of simulating just about anything’. So when I’ve learned more of the world editor I’m going to post my progress here.

I love TrueBeams mods, for this case it’s specifically the aurora borealis skybox. It’s beautiful. One idea I wanna bring to fruition is to try and implement a music visualiser mod that makes the aurora move and react to music you have playing in the background because my favourite thing to do with this game is make music videos.

Ive spoke with TrueBeam and they have said maybe it’s possible; but it will be very complicated.

So. I’m making this post for 3 main reasons:

1. Remember what I wanna achieve

2. Track and post any progress I make with it

3. Open the ideas to the community so we can potentially collaborate

So yeah. This is my diary for these goals.

So I love the universal underglow mod, but it doesn’t work with custom cars. Does anyone have any idea how to mod that mod onto other mods? I’d love try add it to the RX7 mod to give it a spice of underglow! Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I wanted to try and push this to the developers of this wonderful simulation. The game is only 0.38.5.0 right now and it's already capable of getting some aspects of ones dreams into reality. I was so impressed by u/fillman86 's GT Race Career Mode mod that I wanted to try and push this video so that the devs can see what their dedicated enthusiast professional simulation technology enjoyers are capable of creating and achieving with their passion within their wonderful engine. Preach.
