If only he understood that I'd let him in if he was capable of behaving like a gentleman while I work. But alas, too many coworkers have seen his butthole on camera and heard his hangry screams, so my stupid Pie has to spend his days on the other side of that door.
LOVE whoever came up with the patriotic algae theme for 4th of July especially because it gave me the most fitting opportunity to use BKL Fuck ICE. I'm not usually a fan of doing an accent nail on myself but since I was painting over a day old mani that I liked (will add video in comments), I figured I'd keep BKL Root of Hemlock on one finger.
Root of Hemlock reminds me of how the sky looks right as the sun comes out after a heavy afternoon thunderstorm in the summer. My lone fingernail holds all the hope I can muster that this awful storm will pass and the sun will shine again. I'll leave the symbolism in the name to your imagination.
But also it's just pretty.
