How to say time spans such as from 8:20 to 8:40
Hi guys, I’d like to give you a heads-up that English isn’t my native language either.
So in my russian course we are currently learning times in russian. But telling time spans is still not clear to me.
For example: from 8:20 to 8:40
I would either say:
С двадцати минут девятого до без двадцати девять
Or
С двадцати минут девятого до без двадцати девяти
I guess to say it in this way is in general a bit uncommon under native speakers (?)
But generally we have to say it like that.
The only confusing thing for me is, if девять has to be put in genitive or not because of the до.
Thanks in advance
