Autofilter in Locked Table

I have a table with 4 columns where column A has a checklist item, column B is the date when it was done, column C is when it's next due, and column D is a checkbox.

Column C, the next due column, is calculated from a formula. I'm wanting to lock this column to prevent editing while leaving the other ones unlocked. This seems pretty straightforward at first, I just lock column C, unlock A, B, D, protect sheet, and select "use autofilter" and "sort". But I get an error saying the cell or chart is on a protected sheet.

Everything that I google seems to suggest this is possible but I've been wracking my brain on what I'm possibly doing wrong here.

edit: using excel version 2605 for Microsoft 365

edit2: to clarify, I'm trying to be able to use the filter to sort by oldest to newest, not to hide/show stuff

Linking second email?

I just signed up for an aster mail account a couple of days ago, and I created 2 accounts, one for more professional type stuff with my name as the email and a second personal one. I didn't realize there was an "alias" option in the account settings. Is there a way for me to link the 2 emails now after the fact? Or perhaps delete one to free up the username?

Also, is there any difference between astermail.org and aster.cx domains?

Clackamas county missing persons alert?

Last night I got a missing persons alert from the Clackamas County Sheriffs department. I got a text, a call, and an email all at the same time. The email it's sent from is noreply@everbridge.net. Googling everbridge returns results for some kind of AI mass notification system.

Is this a new thing that CCSO is doing? If so, how did they get my info? I assume some kind of data broker. What seems kind of sketchy is that the email has a link to "acknowledge receipt of this message", the text has a "reply with YES to confirm receipt", and the voicemail message it left says to contact CCSO to "confirm your receipt of this message".

If this were just a missing persons alert a la amber/silver alerts, why would they need/want receipt notifications?
