Elna 664 serger for a beginner?
I have recently started sewing clothes (made two so far, one was in class where I had a serger) and hoping to make atleast a few wardrobe pieces. I have a white 1866 sewing machine which has done pretty well so far and I am in the market for a serger. I recently saw an Elna 664 in excellent condition for $250 that I am considering buying. Based on my research, it seems to be a pretty reliable serger. However, I can't find much on what's a good price for it secondhand. The seller will allow me to test the serger. Any other tips on what to check while making the purchase?
