Kit repair question.

Bought a new open cell wetsuit recently. Arrived yesterday and I've found three small tears in the inner neoprene on one leg. The largest is about 1.5 inches long. Tags are still on and it's unused. I've raised a complaint with the company but I'm also concerned that they might decide I'm the one who damaged it and refuse to refund. At that point I will have had to pay shipping both ways and the process could take several weeks. Is it better to just use some open cell wetsuit glue and get over it, or push for a replacement? Any similar experiences? Cheers! UK based if that matters.

SIGI point of balance questions

I was at a HEMA event recently and got to handle a SIGI gothic and... Wow. That thing FLEW! I've been using a regenyei strong for 7 years but the Gothic was incredible to use. Nimble and powerful at the same time. It was the first time I've felt like I had a serious, unfair advantage because of the gear I had. I checked the stats on Sigis website and noticed that the POB was just 5cm from the cross guard! That's about 2.5cm closer than my regenyei and massively closer than almost any historical longsword example I can find (most are around 10cm). I'm not sure I like how far away that's moving from an actual longsword, but are there any examples of actual longswords built to those specs, or is this just a sportification for the interests of speed and possibly safety?
