Might have to retire…

When a regular Hard level is nearly impossible, and then Super Hards need minimum all 3 powerups and a superball to have a chance to beat it - they come up with this bs.

On top of changing how the powerups work too.

This could be a wrap for me…

Hey all, looking for some advice from folks who have lived with natural veg tan longer than I have.

I have a Naked & Famous thick belt in natural veg tan that I picked up in August 2024. It has been in pretty heavy rotation since, probably 3 to 4 days a week.

At this point, around 20 to 21 months in, it has developed a solid patina. There is nice darkening overall, some variation, and the usual wear around the holes. No cracking or structural issues, but I am starting to notice:
- Slight dryness or hazy areas in spots
- A bit stiffer than when new
- Some surface scuffing that does not fully blend in anymore

So my question:

Would you condition it now, or keep letting it ride?

If you would condition:
- What would you use? Bick 4 vs neatsfoot vs something else
- How light are you going on application

If you would not:
- What signs would you wait for before stepping in

I am torn between preserving the current color vs pushing it into the next stage of patina and potentially darkening it more than I want.

Appreciate any guidance, especially from folks who have taken belts 3 to 5 plus years in.

Thanks!
