“He could smell it, my perfume” - What frag is Hermione wearing in Deathly Hallows?
Just thought this might be interesting. I’m not sure if there’s one correct/canon answer just thought this would be fun.
Edit: deathly hallows book released in 2007, movie part 1 released in 2010, but is supposed to take place around 1997-1998!
Edit 2: You can also choose what perfume you think she would wear asynchronous to the times :)
You are only allowed to have/own/wear one fragrance house. Which one do you pick?
No loop holes 😁
Have you ever met a celebrity? What did they smell like?
A long time ago, I was sitting next to Brad Pitt at a bar. He smelled of sandalwood, sandalwood, and more sandalwood.
So, out of curiosity, have you ever (in the least weird way) smelled what perfumes celebrities wear?
EDIT: today I learned that this sub probably smells a lot better than many celebrities!
Reading a review on perfume
Idk if memes are allowed but I feel this in my heart of hearts
What perfume opinions get you like this?
Let’s hear it
Edit: reminder to be kind to each other! <3
Edit 2: absolutely losing it/laughing/crying reading all these comments with my morning earl grey today. Thank you all I love this sub 🤣
We’ve made it
(It isn’t too hard to impress me obviously)
I genuinely can’t wait to try my first decants
Just here to vent.
I ordered 18 decants and they’ve arrived but I have a whole work day of waiting and I’m just ITCHIN FOR A SNIFFIN. AAAACCCCCHHKKFGGH.
Here’s what awaits me! So excited. I love and hate this feeling!
How can I smell like this?
I’d love to know any recommendations based on my mood board.
Should I wait to sample my perfumes for “mail shock”?
I am expecting a decant order in the mail in the next few days and I’m very eager to try them.
However, I’ve heard people in different subs talk about “mail shock” and that a fragrance might smell wrong unless you let it sit for a few days first. Is there any truth in this?
If anyone’s curious I’d love to know any thoughts on my order:
Bal D’Afrique
Jazz Zernell Gillie
Gris Charnal
Lune Feline
The Noir 29

Creed Original Vetiver
Creed Jasmin Imperatrice

Inspired by a similar post I saw on here :)

Perfumes similar to Habit Rouge by Guerlain?
I adore Habit Rouge but find it’s too masculine on me.
Literally an older woman at my workplace asked me if I had recently hooked up with someone overnight because “his cologne is all over you”…
That one comment suddenly made me feel gross and sadly ruined it for me, so looking for perfumes with similar accords (woody, vanilla, balsam, incense is good too) but lean femme. Thank you :)
Is LinkedIn safe? Personal privacy concerns.
Hi all. This is my first post on this sub.
I am a rising senior in undergrad and everyone I know is harping about how essential LinkedIn is for career advancement. But all I can see is how much personal information you're volunteering for all to see, easily searchable just with your full name. I also have a very unique name, which makes it easier.
I have experienced violent stalking in my past, so I am exceptionally wary about digital privacy. The idea of putting where I work, where I go to university, etc. just really doesn't sit right with me, but I am worried that LinkedIn really is essential. Can anyone give me your take on personal privacy with LinkedIn?
Thank you
This picture of Marilyn Monroe changed everything for me (R)
Long-time lurker on this sub. For YEARS I have struggled to type myself, and mostly gave up and just went with a general "mostly yin" because I could not seem to type myself no matter what I did. I thought SC, SG, TR, everything but R.
Then, I saw this picture of Marilyn Monroe, and it all clicked. I'm a Romantic.
I had this idea that romantics had to have no width, waspish waists, super wide hips, and DDs. But in this picture, Marilyn is so fleshy, soft, rounded, and sweet but not girlish in a way that challenged my perception of Rs.
I tried on a super romantic dress. Ruffles, rose patterns, thin straps, waist emphasis, short, and I look SO FINE!!!
Anyway, I just wanted to share because this is a very satisfying "ah-hah!" moment for me.
