I’ve always found it a little strange that why are we expected to pick only one thing and stick with it...

What about, Engineer who reads philosophy?

Or Doctor who builds software?

Or a Student who studies history, makes music and is learning AI on the side?

Or maybe Entrepreneur who is obsessed with physics?

Or Someone who spends one month learning astronomy and the next trying to understand economics?

There are quite a few Pakistanis like this, but there isn't really a place where all these interests can overlap (as far as im aware).

So, I started r/PolymathPakistan — a small community for Pakistanis who are curious about multiple fields and enjoy learning outside their “main” profession.

The idea isn't to prove who's a genius or who knows the most. It's simply a place to:

• share things you're learning
• connect seemingly unrelated fields
• discuss interesting ideas
• find people with wildly different interests
• collaborate on projects
• ask questions without worrying whether they're "on topic" for your career

If you've ever thought “I can't possibly choose just one thing to be interested in”, you might enjoy it.
