Where to stay in Baja?
Hello all, my wife and I are looking for a beach destination somewhere on the Baja peninsula for a trip in the next month or so. Our main criteria are:
Beach--ideally white sand or as close to it as possible, with calm water. The sand doesn't literally have to be white, but we are not interested in rocky beaches.
Town--we'd love to stay in a town with easy access to things like restaurants and shops, with an emphasis on food.
If possible, we want to stay in accommodations where we are as close as possible to BOTH the above things; either on the beach or a short walk from it, while also being no more than a short walk from amenities.
For point of comparison, we stayed on Isla Holbox a few years ago and basically got all this in one place, but I know it might be too much to ask for all this anywhere in Baja or the west coast of Mexico. We visited Sayulita and San Pancho last year and had a great time, but the water there is a bit rough so we're wondering if there is a similar place with calmer water?
