I do not understand why commencement has to be mid week on a Wednesday. It is so incredibly inconvenient. My family has to travel across the country to be in attendance. Both my parents work full time. The fact that it had to be rescheduled means they can no longer attend, as they can’t afford to take time off work. If it had been scheduled for a Friday with the contingency being Saturday, they could have made it. Such ridiculous scheduling.
