ISO: Menopur and/or Follistim

Hello! I’m super appreciative of all the med donation posts in this community. It’s really incredible to see people helping each other out, and I look forward to paying it forward with anything I have left after my procedure. Not sure if this type of post is allowed, so mods, please delete if necessary!

I think I’ve reached out to all NYC-based users who posted about donating Menopur or unused 900 IU Follistim and whose posts didn’t indicate the meds had already been claimed. I felt a little awkward reaching out like this, but I wanted to cover all my bases and post here before placing another pharmacy order in the next day or two, just in case anyone donating meds doesn’t regularly check their DMs.

I was originally given a quote by my clinic for a more typical protocol, but it turns out I’m on a pretty aggressive high-dose protocol, so I’m burning through meds (and the budget I’d set aside for them) much faster than expected.

Injection Pump Up Playlist

Did my first injections ever this evening! I'm trying to make this experience as pleasant and positive as I possibly can for myself, so I made a pump up playlist to listen to when I'm prepping my injections, followed by a mini dance party in my room right before the poke :)

Today was "Joy." by RAYE and "Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl" by Chappell Roan.

What song(s) would be on your pump up playlist??

Does anyone have the muji cuckoo clock? I'm looking at the medium one and it sounds like it's possible to shut the "cuckoo" sound off, while still having the bird pop out (silently). I was wondering if the sound of the gears making the bird pop out is very noisy, even without the cuckoo beeps

Hey All,

I had posted a few weeks ago asking for recommendations on affordable pharmacies that I could order from as a self-pay patient. I got a ton of good recommendations, looked into a handful of them, and promised I'd follow up with what I'd found. So here it is, if it helps kick start anyone else research! I left the ones I didn't get quotes from on the sheet anyway, just since they were recommended, if anyone else wants to look into them.

Screenshot of my spreadsheet below (get ready to zoom in, lol) https://imgur.com/a/A5sjrrR

A few notes:

  • I haven't placed any orders yet since I'm still hoping to find some nyc med donations first, so I can't speak on the service of any of these pharmacies yet!

  • These are all quotes only

  • Some of these pharmacies accept coupons (noted towards the top of my spreadsheet), but interestingly most won't give you a quote with coupon pricing unless your doctor sends in the prescriptions. My clinic will only send out prescriptions twice, so I didn't find out coupon pricing. That being said many pharmacies already set their pricing to match coupon pricing.

  • Please don't take this spreadsheet as the final word, always ask pharmacies yourself and do the due diligence that you need to do.
