The greatest goodH

Hi all,
Quick reminder that I love you all.
But my question is today is, what do you feel is the greatest good when picking up?

Making a beauty spot more beautiful?
Getting a problem area/eyesore, such as high traffic areas?
Cleaning up near/in waterways?
Getting wooded areas that not many people even see?

Curious as to what you think.

Best, your friend Patrick

Global Beatles Day

Apologies if this has been discussed.

June 25th is Global Beatles Day. It has its own web page, etc. the web page is filled with bland pronouncements and suggestions about how you can do something or nothing, alone or in groups, etc. (“Host a listening party!”)

I’d like the group’s thoughts. Shouldn’t we be able to have more impact than that? We are millions. We are passionate. If you want to have a listening party, or support PETA … great. Doesn’t anybody want to do more?

Your thoughts. I thank you.

I didn’t get photos tonight. A full trash bag, and probably 50 containers for recycling. Kenosha, Wisconsin, near my son’s rink. Railroad tracks are always a target-rich environment.

When I was a young guy, during the Carter Administration, I was known to have a beer or two in the woods. More than likely, I left messes here and there. Details are sketchy.
So this is my penance. I cleaned up an old party spot near my house, several states away.

Good evening,

I apologize if you’ve answered this a hundred times and I just haven’t dug far enough.

My town is doing a time capsule, and we’re including (we hope) handwritten messages. The capsule is pretty good — stainless steel with nylon washers to hold out the elements.

But we’re looking for a roll of paper — perhaps 8.5 to 12 inches across, and maybe 100 feet in length.

Any suggestions on acid-free paper for the job? Will be buried for 50 years.

Thanks in advance. pd
