i’m going into college and am itching to get involved w the scene around the area but i’ve only ever been a music listener and preacher of the counterculture but not a show-goer. and i can’t lie im pretty intimidated and like scared that im not gonna fit into the crowd and someone’s gonna clock that i haven’t been moshing out of the womb. plz help any and all advice is appreciated

where are the strange punk people at berkeley? where do they congregate?
what’s the hardcore scene like? in terms of the music scene i’ve heard there’s great EDM but not much about other genres
