Need advice on growing strawberries hydroponically 🍓
I'm running a controlled-environment strawberry setup with DWC, NFT, aeroponic towers and troughs. Grow lights are optimized for strawberries with controlled DLI. Temperature is generally controllable from 15–25°C, with nights potentially down to ~12°C, and RH from 50–80%.
I need advice on two things:
1. Cultivar: Which strawberry cultivar would you recommend for CEA/hydroponics if the goal is high yield, large fruit, good Brix/flavor and consistent production?
2. Nutrients: I'm using MasterBlend 9-12-34 Strawberry Formula + calcium nitrate + magnesium sulfate. What EC and pH would you recommend throughout the grow cycle from transplant → vegetative → flowering → fruiting?
If you've actually grown strawberries hydroponically, what EC gave you the best results, and did you change it by stage?
