Petition to FIFA: fix the agent exam platform

sat the exam on 28 may: resit after my first sitting was cancelled for the same screen sharing issue. Same device, passed the readiness check both times. platform failed both times. same issues as 2025.

reading this sub, clearly i'm not the only one.

i've put together a petition: https://c.org/ydfbJckX4p

not asking for an easier exam. Asking for a platform that works and rules that are fair.

sign and share if you've been through this.

if FIFA rejects your appeal because you "didn't report the issue during the exam," here's why that doesn't hold up

a lot of us had platform issues during the exam (broken search, screen-share failures, answers not recording) and are now getting rejected, or told the result is final, because we "didn't report it during the session." if that's you, here's the argument i'm using, sharing in case it helps.

reporting mid-exam wasn't a real option, and the rules themselves are why:

  • invigilators aren't responsible for technical issues (rule 11(3)), so they can't actually fix anything
  • any time you spend talking to the invigilator comes out of your exam clock (rule 11(4))
  • no extra time is granted under any circumstances (rule 8(6))

so reporting would have cost me exam time, gotten me no help, and earned me no time back. stopping to report was a lose-lose, the only rational choice was to keep working.

on top of that, the "report during the session" rule (12(4)) sits under force majeure (rule 12). a broken platform isn't force majeure, it's a failure of fifa's own software, so it belongs under rule 15 (matters not provided for), not rule 12. and i passed the pre-exam readiness check, so my setup met their requirements, which means rule 4(5) (your own device/connection) doesn't apply either. the pdf viewer and search are part of fifa's platform. when they fail, that's on fifa.

if you got rejected on the "you didn't report it" line, or had the same platform issues, drop a comment. the more of us using the same argument, the harder it is to brush off.
