just did my course enrolment for DPE MEd but couldn't add the socio-emotional dev. course, developmental psych, or the foundational developmental course.
Is either of them usually offered during the summer?
I’m trying to decide between JOI1287H: Introduction to Applied Statistics and JOI1288H: Intermediate Statistics and Research Design.
For context, I already took PSY201 at UofT, and I used R for things like t-tests, regression, etc. in my own research projects. I'd be down for a refresher as it was a long time ago since i took it, it was during covid, but I'd hate to be doing hand-calculations, specially since a lot of these can be done using R or like AI even. Like I would hate to lose marks for calculation errors when I already know the concepts...
For anyone who has taken either course, JOI1287H or JOI1288H:
How calculation-heavy were they each?
Were exams more about manual calculations, or more about interpreting results/designing studies?
Would JOI1288H be manageable after PSY201, or is JOI1287H still worth taking first?
Any advice would be appreciated!

My doctor gave me ecitalopram but i haven’t tried. I also just got on Vyvanse but that also increases my anxiety i can’t even take vyvanse on luteal phase.
I’m afraid of trying new meds they just impact me so strongly. Im thinking of starting it with 2.5 breaking the pills. But anyways how was your experience with it? Does it actually work? I can’t deal with any more breakdowns honestly. Does the intermittent dosing actually work?? Does it have any withdrawals when u stop?

Hi friends. I’m new here. I have really bad PMDD and rn actively experiencing PMDD symptoms. I finally got Foquest though!! And picked it up today. I’m thinking of starting it tomorrow so I can get some work done cuz its hard to get work done during Luteal phase. It’ll be my first time. Wha should I expect? Good idea to start tmr?
My PMDD is not managed, I booked an appt with my doctor to get ssri or smth for it i’d appreciate ur thoughts on that too. But for now, should I start Foquest tmr?
