I Can’t Believe it Worked Out…
Hi everyone, I’m putting this out to see how many people resorted to a similar solution like I did. But I also have my story time below.
I’m from the Bay where we get hyphy and go dumb so naturally I set my alarms to queue up for the Oakland show, however I was dealing with so many technical difficulties while also trying to work through my 9 - 5. It was all so overwhelming and by the time I made it into the queue, I was #260000 in the membership pre-sale line. After an hour and a half, I got to purchase and the whole stadium was greyed out!! I couldn’t buy anything. So I literally went insane trying to re-enter the queue only to find the exact same results 🫠
So we’re 2 hours into the membership presale, I see that tickets for Oakland are already on third-party sites but I decided to start looking at other venues on Ticketmaster… VEGAS (the date worked better for me anyway). I join the queue and I’m like…. Instantly in and I see a handful of seats left by the stage… they’re literally getting snatched up as I try to decide what I want to do. BUT THERE IS NO TIME TO THINK, so I snag these seats by the corner of Floor A and I don’t look back. The tickets were mine!!
Then there was the whole ordeal of VIP, I waited out until 3PM today and was able to get passes for my partner and I. I was expecting them to tax the hell out of me but those prices weren’t bad in my opinion.
This feels like divine intervention, I was reading people struggling to get tickets in real time so it feels like there’s no way it should have worked out the way it did. Plus the concert is so far in advance I have time to save my money!!
My heart goes out to all of the people who were in the trenches today and yesterday. I know it was such a battle but we made it! If you did not end up with your desired outcome, I hope there are opportunities for you to experience Katseye in the future!!
