Hindi Medium University?

I got scolded by my professor because I couldn’t understand what they were saying in Hindi.
The frustrating part is that they already know that I don’t speak or understand Hindi or Punjabi. I’m trying my best to adjust and communicate, but obviously I can’t understand everything when someone speaks to me in a language I don’t know.
