As an ex Christian no longer afraid to speak out, what is your most NSFW joke about Christianity?

Forgive me if I'm out of line here but I used to have some fun jokes in the day but finding that being an atheist now allows me to have some over ruling of what was off limits. I hope you all are thriving in any way you wish having left your faith and have done so through deconstruction or otherwise.

For certain that many people who would very strong convictions in their faith had to deal with a lot of personal psychological turmoil if you have overcome it I applaud you

If we are a Christian nation, why aren't more Christians holding elected office practicing what Jesus commanded?

It's just odd that we have so many people who consider themselves devout Christians yet I don't see many devout Christians running and holding elected offices providing the kind of stable welfare and well being of the nation? I've always thought Jimmy Carter was a great public servant and a man with deep conviction to his Christianity. I see the same thing with James Talarico yet, Texas being in the Bible belt still leans with Ken Paxton who behaves and is far from what anyone would call Christian.

ExChristians wanna know.

I finally got what I expected, nothing! That's why I'm an ex christian.

I didn't want too many tangible things.....but not one request was answered. The idea that the god you pray to doesn't answer all prayers, why post "anything in his name, he will do" then not do! *shakes head in atheism.

Propagation question, should I have added some of this blooming fertilizer to the soil before I had bagged it or do I have to redo all of them?

2 questions: good website for Plumeria and care, and recommendations on bloom fertilizer?

Hi Everyone.

I've got about 60 Plumeria going and soon to be grafting with different colors. In all my searching online for good Plumeria knowledge and care, I've also been looking around for some of the best fertilizer and especially bloom fertilizer. Saw Jack's Classic Bloom, Scott's Super Bloom, & Hawaiian Bud & Bloom. Your thoughts? Thank you and happy Plumeria-ing.

What are you most successful ways of propagating from branches?

Hello everyone. Have a bunch of Plumeria I'd like to propagate. I've heard from many gardeners with Plumeria various methods they use to propagate. Curious if you had anything special by way of your own home made rooting hormones, the length of time you wait till the base stem hardens, the type of soil, the depth you place the branches in the soil, the time you wait till you water, misting/hosing the branches, etc. Thank you so kindly.

Hello. Pre-diabetic and leaning vegetarian.....maybe vegan (soon). Recipe or idea question. I like a sweet with my black coffee in the morning. Need a suggestion.

Hi everyone. Lifestyle changes in life and in habits. Including my food intake. Trader Joe's used to have a bag of Vegan trail mix cookies but they no longer sell. Anyone have a suggestion and/or a recipe on a cookie mix that is diabetic friendly and delicious? Thank you. Have a nice day.

Can we say that for nearly 1600 years of written Biblical evolution to what is seen as the bases of modern fundamental Christianity, that history and all their changes were never taught in Sunday school or spoken about from the pulpit!

My fundamental Christianity never had even one discussion on the historicity of the Bible, any of the characters, the archeology, linguistics, geography, anthropology or anything else. It was just hearsay and other made up dialogue just as long as it fit the narrative of the those in power.

My deconstructing came with a search for actual historical knowledge in what was most objectively written of the times. Good grief how I was mislead.

I still see some of the leaders of the church here an there considering many of my family members still hold membership to those institutions, but I can't help but stare at them and think how much they're just making up whatever silliness popped into their minds.

What is a good cookie/pastry recipe for a vegan leaning pre-diabetic?

Hi everyone.

Lifestyle changes in life and in habits. Including my food intake. Trader Joe's used to have a bag of Vegan trail mix cookies I loved but they no longer sell them. Anyone have a suggestion and/or a recipe on a cookie mix that is diabetic friendly and delicious? Thank you. Have a nice day.
