Both Sour Patch Kids flavors, Swedish Fish and Iced Tea Lemonade. I’ve never asked to buy a whole case of something from a pile at a gas station, but there’s a first time for everything, I guess. I gotta have those Swedish Fish. It was the only one that wasn’t in the cooler.
I’m building the X-Files set right now, and this is built into one of the corners, but gets completely covered up in a later step. I know designers like to add little secrets in sets, but this looks like a tiny little car pulled up to a UFO landing in a forest. Anybody else see it?
Awesome set, btw. The show is one of my favorites, I used to watch it with my mom and my rock band and best friends back in the day, and it’s very very special and close to my heart for that reason. The set is full of very cool little details, and it’s been a lot of fun to build. The Scully’s Lab set gift with purchase is an awesome accompaniment.
This was a tax return present for myself, I bought the blank and dropped it off at STT in Seattle back in May. Lead time was pretty crazy considering the last one they did for me got done in two weeks, and the lack of communication was a little frustrating, but they do amazing work, so I’m just calling it a win and I’m happy to have the jersey back. Yes, it’s sunny and 85 degrees here in Tacoma today and Yes, I’m still putting it on immediately.
I’ve been hanging on to this one since last summer, waiting for some undetermined special occasion to drink it, I haven’t even seen a wrapped can since I bought this one. These EDC Electric Limeades were literally the first kind of Ghost I ever tried because this can just drew me right in. I miss the wrapped Ghost cans, but the art and colors, combined with the various textures and glow in the dark elements on this one in particular just had all my neurons firing off before I even opened the can. Expiration date is July 2026, it’s a little flat, but it still has plenty of sparkle and the flavor is still intact. Happy Birthday, Hampton!
I know most subs hate these “which one?” posts from newbies, but I’ve searched a lot and see a lot of opinions basically spilt on these two, so I was hoping to get fresh perspectives. DJI seems like the standard choice, but I did some cursory searching this morning and saw a lot of folks speaking up for Potensic. I don’t want to go too much over $300 for my first one because there’s a non zero chance it ends up crashed into a mountain side or lost eventually.
How does the fit of CCM compare to Fanatics? My wife and I are pretty big Simpsons fans and we love hockey, I’d like to get her one of these for next Christmas (I try to get my shopping done early lol), but I only own Fanatics jerseys. I’ll be getting it customized so I don’t think I’d be able to return it if the fit is wrong.
I really like the flames on the end of the sleeves, I didn’t know about that little detail and it was a cool surprise. The font they use for the name and number reminds me of a stock car or a NASCAR car lol which I know may not necessarily sound like a good thing to some people, but that was my youth. All and all, super happy to add this one to my collection. I’ve wanted a Blasty jersey for a while and I would’ve paid full price tbh, so getting it on sale was amazing. Now if I could only pick up a Ducks home jersey and a Stars blackout third jersey for $35 my life would be complete.
