NYC doe teacher job offer & nomination
Hi everyone! I recently graduated with my masters and landed a middle school ELA position. I did the interview, demo, meet with the principal & team, yada, yada—Everything flowed and I truly think it’s a right fit. Three weeks ago I received a congratulatory welcome email from the principal with the generic lines and offer. I emailed the principal back accepting it and asked if anything is needed on my behalf. With a quick response, I was told nothing is needed from me and that she would be in touch regarding the next steps in the onboarding process.
As stated, it has been three weeks and I have yet to officially receive and accept the job offer on the NTF. When exactly are those sent out? Is it July, middle of July, August? Some advice on this matter would be great from those who have experienced this or are on a similar boat. Especially since I’m new to the whole doe thing and how it operates. Thank you.
