So I am filing today. We're from AZ and originally we had agreed to all terms so it would have been done and over in 60 days. She found out how much she was getting in child support and was mad but said "I dont care if you dont give me anything just file it." Then come the day I am filing with all the paperwork signed by both of us. She said "the amount youre trying to give me is a joke i am not signing anything". She was getting 400 from a previous order from before we got married and it went down to less than 60. Mind you we're 50/50 parenting and I pay for like 95% of my daughters expenses. Her pay also increased significantly since the last order, not the same as mine but a couple dollars less an hour. This is all based off the calculator the state has and I've even asked her to do her math on it and send me what she gets and i'll file with that but nothing but silence. We also have a prenup that basically says that whatever is under whosevers name is theirs. The only thing I have is my pension which with my debt and her assets she'd end up owing me money. So i have to file with us not agreeing to terms which will take 3-6 months. More than likely she'll waste everything she's entitled to in child support for the remaining years I have to keep paying it on a lawyer. I already decided I am not paying for one because I am not asking for anything other than child support to be adjusted based on the calculator. It's f'd up because even though I didnt want to do it, this was the silver lining (getting back a few hundred every month) and I now feel like her prolonging it is just another way to exert control over me even though she wants nothing to do with me. Rant over.
