A Huge "Thank You" to Some Incredible Fans and Local Businesses in a Moment of Need Sunday

I wanted to take a moment to publicly thank some incredible people who helped my wife and I during what turned into an extremely stressful Sunday (regardless of what was happening on-field).

Before the game, I somehow lost my wedding ring in a private parking lot at 3920 Southwestern Blvd. As anyone who's married can probably understand, panic set in pretty quickly once we realized it was gone.

When we notified the parking attendants, the owners went far beyond anything we could have expected. They showed up with a metal detector and offered to let us take it home and use it indefinitely to search for the ring. They also offered to come back and help us look the following day and instructed their staff to keep an eye out during cleanup. In an act of kindness that completely caught us off guard, they even offered us free parking for the rest of the year out of sympathy. We couldn't possibly accept that, but we were genuinely humbled by the gesture and their investment of time and compassion into our situation.

As if losing the ring wasn't enough, our car battery died later that day. The attendants at Kane's Stadium View Parking (3952 Southwestern Blvd) came to our rescue, jumped the car for free despite the fact that we weren't even parked in their lot, and asked how they could help with the search for the ring.

Then came the postgame search. Dozens of fans stayed behind to help us look. Bills fans, families, and even a few Patriots fans (credit where it's due) spent their own time helping complete strangers search a parking lot for a lost wedding ring.

We found it! The ring is back where it belongs, but the outreach from the community, both our friends and complete strangers, in a moment that felt overwhelming, is something we'll never forget.

To everyone who helped us search, offered equipment, jumped our car, checked the lot, shared advice, or simply took a few minutes out of their day to help some stressed-out strangers: thank you. My wife and I won't forget it.

To the guys from 3920 Southwestern and Kane's Stadium View Parking, who have been kind enough to stay in touch and follow-up to check how we're holding up, you've earned customers for life. Thank you all so very much.

TL:DR - Lost a wedding ring (now found) and was met with an outreach I never could have expected from some incredibly thoughtful fans and parking lot owners. Thank You!
