Quick facts - 0.16 BAC, PA, state police showed up with body cam, the cop said I was polite and cooperated, I hit another guy head on, he went to the hospital to get checked out but only had bruises and no real injury, the states still charging me with misdimeanor DUI with bodily injury.

Half the people I talk to tell me to hire a lawyer and the other half say I don't need to.

The lawyer I called said it would be $15k and he'd be trying to get the charges dropped. Is $15k high and is it even possible to get the charges dropped completely when I hit another person?

Half the people I talk to tell me to hire a lawyer and the other half say I don't need to. I know if I call and ask a lawyer they'll say I should hire one because they want a customer. What do you all think?
