Switching from music to podcasts was a mistake

Has anyone else fell into the trap of listening more and more podcasts instead of music?

I used to listen music all the time but now with so much podcast and video content I slowly started to gravitate towards that. Lately I've been noticing it's not good, it's draining and doesn't help with the information overload. You might not be looking at a screen but it's still there, the endless amount of content and random yapping.

I have AuDHD so I like to have something to listen to since it helps keeping track of time (the time blindness) while I'm working on something.

I'm switching back to full albums. It's so much better and also helps with the gloom and doom of everything.

I can't find a way to shut down my computer on win 11 log in screen

So I bought a new laptop with windows 11 pre-installed but I have zero desire to use it and I'm planning on straight up updating it to linux, but I'm stuck on the log in screen for microsoft account and there is nothing else to do, no menu, no shut down icon in the screen, holdin down the power button does fuck all. Tried some keyboard commands with no luck.

I am absolutely new to all of this and for the past few weeks spend copious amount of time just to research the very basic entry level information about computers and softwares to make more informed decisions in future and get familiar with the idea and logic of linux distros.

But I never anticipated to be stuck with such a stupid problem, what am I missing? Do I just drain the battery?

I'm honestly just having a major information overload headache after all of this and can't think straight. I'm not gonna log in to microsoft just to shut down my computer, this is ridiculous.
