Does anyone know why they retired the 32oz pitcher? Would a 32oz and 48oz work just as good for smaller portion frozen smoothie bowls?

There are nice deals on Ascent X3 right now- is it a great blender? I’ve seen some reviews saying the self detect messes up a lot? But I’ve heard this is one of the quietest Vitamixes
