Anyone running Meta Ads for Dropshipping the US?

Hi fam,

As the title says, I am starting a dropshipping business in the US.

Background: I have got the store up and running and the supply chain is sorted. The product is validated, just about to start my first meta ad campaigns. I have designed videos, image sets, carousel for the first campaign.

Looking for advice here on meta ads. If you have ran a similar campaign, what has been your experience, CAC, CPM etc?

Apologies if this isn't the correct sub to ask this question.

Edit: please do not ask me to DM you. Will ignore any dm requests. Share the info here for everyone else to benefit as well. Help the fam grow.

Seeking a reliable private agent/supplier for Himalayan Salt Lamps (Fast US/CAN shipping)

Hi everyone,

I am currently scaling an e-commerce storefront and am looking for a serious, reliable private agent or supplier for authentic, high-quality Himalayan salt lamps and related products.

I’m not looking for a one-time transaction. I want to build a stable, long-term working relationship with a trustworthy partner as we grow.

What I’m looking for:

Product: Premium-quality, authentic salt products with consistent craftsmanship and availability.

Pricing: Competitive factory/direct pricing to support healthy margins.

Packaging: Ability to source and include custom inlay cards for our branding.

Logistics: Secure and reliable packaging (crucial for fragile items) with the fastest shipping methods to the US and Canada.

Communication: Fast, professional, and transparent.

If you are a manufacturer, miner, or established agent who can consistently meet these requirements, please DM me with the following:

Your product catalogue

Pricing and MOQs

Shipping options and estimated transit times to US/CAN

General business terms

Serious suppliers only, please. Let’s do serious business. 🤝

Review my first store before my ad campaign

Hello,

Let me preface this by saying that I have come this far because of this community's support. If I have done anything right on the website, it is because of this community.

Here I am again, asking for your expert review on https://store.pinksalt.com

I would rather have it from fellow industry members than meta eating my ad budget and teaching me an expensive lesson.

So when you visit the store, what's stopping you from buying? What can I improve?

I am like really new to dropshipping (a week hardly) so I don't have any reviews for the store/product sales.

Check out the scrub page specifically.

Please correct me if I am wrong as this is the first time I am using PayPal for such transactions.

Thank you in advance.

Need your expert reviews

These are my cost from Zendrop + 5.5% Paypal Chgs:

  • Wood Base Lamp: $36
  • Scrub: $16
  • Wall Lamp Plug: $20
  • Rechargeable Lamp: $22

Add to this Shopify will take an additional 2% of revenue.

Dropping Store Launch Checklist

Hello Everyone,

Let me start by saying that this community has been a life saver. Replies from friendly and experienced members on my first post here gave me the encouragement to get to work and launch my first store. I have good experience in B2B but never did D2C or dropshipping or e-commerce before. Nevertheless, with your guidance and helpful comments, I am about to launch my first store.

Before I do that, let me give you some basic details on the store:

- pink salt items (we are actual manufacturers but decided to test with dropshipping first)

- installed clarity, meta/Google tracking, 3 products

- PayPal enabled payments (stripe not supported in UAE unless I pay $2.9k a month).

- launch target market: US.

Before I go ahead with the launch (hopefully some hours), I want to ask experienced members here to guide if I should go through a checklist first before I start spending my first dollar on meta ads. For B2B business websites, I do have an extensive checklist (SEO. Aeo, geo, alt text, broken link check, indexnow, sitemap submission, lcp, etc etc) but since I have zero experience in ecomm, I wanted to know what kind of check list do you run your store against before the launch.

I have learnt a lot by searching this reddit and ensured that I take all my guidance from historical posts, which truly have been a blessing. I am really thankful to have found this community and all the help I have received so far.

Thank you in advance for this reading this far.

Need help selecting a market

Hi,

I own pinksalt.com and thinking of opening a store on store.pinksalt.com or even moving the B2B side of business to a subdirectory if ever needed.

I have a few questions that I need guidance with:

- I am confused which market I should enter and what's the best way to find this out. The product obviously is pink salt related.

- I am based in Pakistan but I have residence and a company in UAE. Can I sell in the US market?

- How to accept payments for the market that I will enter.

- How to find suppliers to the market that I will enter and what to look out for (except for product) in the dropshipping company.

- How to find out or decide if I should start ads on Meta or TikTok?

I have done B2B businesses over the years but never done e-commerce or dropshipping. I am good with setting up a store and handling the tech part.

I see all experts here with results delivery which is very inspiring and thus encouraged me to set the store up.

I initially want to do just three products:

- night salt lamp

- salt candle holders

- salt massage stones

In B2B, edible salt has most volumes but also includes a lot of regulations and compliance which I understand can complicate and delay initial launch, thus want to stay away from it.

Is this the right choice.

Thank you for reading this far.

PinkSalt.com - Need help converting from B2B to B2C

Hi,

I own the domain and I run a B2B company that manufactures these products for our clients. I want to convert this website in to an e-commerce store, initially dropshipping few shortlisted products and then perhaps scale in the future when volumes make sense.

Is this niche actually worth entering with this premium domain? Initially, looking to enter the US and/or Canada market. Would I be able to compete and be actually remain profitable?

I do actual understand the product as we manufacture it. And I have good B2B experience. Though I have Never ran an e-commerce store before (butI can handle the technical/business side).

Looking for guidance if the effort is worth the pivot. We will retain the B2B side as a sub-section.

Feels like this is a 2000s product that has been beaten to death and major stores (Amazon etc) dominate the market.

Please be kind. Thanks!
