This video just came across on my YouTube feed, I remember the question pops up once in a while. I haven't played around with it too much yet, but so far it seems really cool!
I noticed many of my favourite travel YouTubers put their hotel tour mid video, not in the beginning, when they arrive and check in. Does this matter with retention? In our most recent video I tried to be more linear and I put it in the beginning, and I had a significant dip in retention (although I don’t really have that many views but still. Or perhaps they dipped right after the intro).
Is it smarter to leave it until later, when viewers are more engaged? We’re still very new to this and figuring things out.
