I’ve always wondered what a pre-Rishikesh trip album would look like. I present to everyone: “Across the Universe” released in May or June 1968. It compiles 1967 singles, Magical Mystery Tour tracks, the February 1968 sessions, the “Lady Madonna” single, and Yellow Submarine album tracks intended for the cancelled 1969 EP.
