Stop offering safflower?

I get all the usual suspects you would expect in rural Wisconsin. I offer sunflower, in shell peanuts, peanuts, safflower, suet, grape jelly. I do not have a problem with squirrels, starlings, or house sparrows. I’ve been offering safflower and it gets eaten, but I’m wondering if I can keep a little extra money in my pocket while not losing any bird species at my feeding station by eliminating safflower. Does anyone see any issues by doing this?

Help with BirdSnap

I’m not techy. Can I use this just like I would a trail cam? I bought an SD card for it. I did all the app downloading and WiFi setup. Now I just want to use it without any bells or whistles. Just like a trail cam. But I can’t figure it out. Can anyone put it in simple terms for me? Or tell me what I want to do is impossible so I stop wasting my time tinkering with this thing. Thank you!

White Pine Help - Central Wisconsin

I’ve transplanted several dozen white pine on my property in central Wisconsin. This is the first time that I’ve seen this on about 10-12 of them. Just on the central leader. Ruling out deer browsing because a number of them that also have this going on are 12+ feet tall. Any insight is appreciated.

Anyone mail these in and get something back?

Picked up these lures for $.50 each at a garage sale. I was thinking about mailing these in and see if I get anything back. Am I wasting a stamp?
