Hello! I am going to try and get started on getting some new hearing aids next week through the Start Hearing program via Cigna. Seems like this is the only way to get coverage on new HAs via Cigna?

Does anyone have any recent experience in the past few month with the process? I've read some earlier posts here about some shady practices with some bait and switch tactics. There is also very little information about Start Hearing online and experiences with the company, almost as if the web has been scrubbed of information...

I am going into the appointment with my guard up. They sent me to an appointment with Innovative Hearing, which also feels shady too. They don't seem to have real storefront audiologists. Instead, they are in a large business office complex, and when I get there I am expected to find their unmarked suite and call them from the information on the door. Very weird.

I kind of feel like there might be some shady prey like tactics that might happen - things that older people (HA clientele) would be more prone to fall for... I will be prepared to leave and head to Costco if it does not work out.

A nice lady stopped her car in the middle of the road on Cesar Chavez over by Austin High around noon today to help save a turtle in the road.
