I'm heading to NYC next week and was very delighted to come across this sub. I've perused all of the events that are posted, but my question is: are there any theaters worth visiting on their own right? For example, if I did not have the time to commit and watch a film at a given showtime, but had 30 minutes to an hour to kill, are there theaters that are museum-like or worth visiting standalone? Or any with resources for filmmakers.

Any specific pointers are greatly appreciated. My interests capture all of filmmaking.
