I just got it back together after it sat for about 8 years (clutch master/slave - don't ask why it took me so long).

White '88 944 TurboS with 89,500 miles on it. It's been garaged the entire time I've had it (since about 2002). Car is in good shape (for age) - I won't say pristine. It should have the tires and timing belt replaced. Everything else on the car worked when I last was driving it. Car has not been tracked (since I've owned it anyway).

Seeking $30,000. Location: Western Virginia (not West Virginia).

Last night at about 11pm my upstairs HVAC cut on and it was REALLY loud - I could hear it two stories up. Some of the loudness was caused by the fact that the wall that my outside lines run down was vibrating really heavily. I took a video of it. I couldn't see anything rattling in the unit, but you can clearly hear it being 'off.'

I went outside this morning to try and see if I could figure out what was going on...and it's running normal (have that video too).

Any ideas on what was going on? I'm sure it'll come back at the worst time (house is on the market, so the worst time will be while it's showing or during inspection!). The AC has been cooling fine, it cooled fine last night, seems to be cooling fine today.
