Getting rid of wheelie bins

Moved into a new gaf this year - previous owners left the bins, which I've been using since, but they're pretty manky, falling apart, and too big for one person living on their own.

If I were to order new bins, and I don't honestly mind having to pay for them, is there a way the council will collect the old bins or somewhere where I can drop them off? I can't find anywhere if the dumps take them or not

Ive an aunt with an allotment who uses them for compost, so if all else fails I'm just gonna see if I can send them her way, but I begrudge having to put a wheelie bin into the back of the car haha

What's causing these marks?

I've had this guy for about a year and a half, bought in IKEA and I think it's actually three plants in the one pot. It's dying for some TLC but I'm in the midst of moving houses so hoping to re-pot it soon and give it a bit extra support.

Last watered about a week ago, I generally bottom water it in the kitchen sink - since this brown spot on one leaf has started to form. Thought I'd maybe over watered but not 100% sure since it's only affecting one leaf.

I've also noticed these marks across another leaf, almost like it's been scraped against something? It's not getting the proper sunlight it needs for the past 3 weeks because it hasn't found a new home, but is currently living in a room where the curtains are open every day and the sun comes in directly on it.

Any help would be class!
