Beware Creator’s Corner in Florissant. Highly unprofessional.

I commented that their flyers looked AI generated, which generally gives fiber artists the ick. They chose to block me for my comment.

Many (if not most) members of the fiber arts community are opposed to generative AI, as we literally participate in handmade human made art, and AI has been harmful to our creative communities in a number of ways.

There will be no crocheting for a minimum of 4-6 weeks. Possibly ~3 months. Time to read.

A tendon in my wrist made a loud snap/pop on Sunday. Went to the orthopedic urgent care. Hopefully it heals up on its own, because if not, it will need surgery.

Corrupt r/crochet mods

I find it curious that I can be temporarily banned for being argumentative (not a rule violation), but the person who started the argument gets off
Scott free.

Considering the fact that I’ve been active in this account for 8 years, and all (2) of my temp bans have been in the last few months, it seems more like a change in mod perception than a change on my part.

Muting me is a clear act of cowardice on the part of the mod team. Either you stand behind your decisions and are willing to accept the repercussions of those decisions, or you’re a pathetic coward who is unable to justify your actions. I feel like it’s pretty which side the mod(s) fall on.

Apparently these Strawberry ice creams are currently going viral. Do yourself a favor and swing by PanAsia to get them at a reasonable price.

For context, my brother says he spent $10.99 per ice cream. I told him those prices were highway robbery.

There was no middle seat between us, and for the majority of the flight we left each other alone. But as we were making our final descent into STL, I asked her what she did and she said she was the mayor of St. Louis. I was like “Oh. You’re Cara.”

I told her that I lived in West County, and we discussed her trip to Boston. There was some conference for mayors happening at Harvard, which she seemed excited about.
