Favorite lesser known state parks?

My husband and I just spent the weekend at the little known, but surprisingly pleasant fields spring State Park in South Eastern, WA. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the campground and gorgeous views from the trails. There are a number of xc ski trails to hike on, but that's about it.

This experience has me wondering, what are some other great lesser known state parks that have peaceful camping and maybe at least a little bit to do there or nearby? We are located in Spokane so would prefer central or eastern WA, but I'm really curious what some of the great spots are that maybe don't get huge rowdy crowds.

Vet recommendations?

Looking for vet recommendations for our senior pup. We have lived here for 2 years and we have been taking our pets to Garland for that time, overall we have been happy, but we don't feel like they are taking our concerns about our senior dog. She has been limping for 2 months, we've had her in multiple times and they keep telling us she is fine, but it's to the point where she can barely put weight on it. Aside from this issue she is in great health, she is still enthusiastic about life and we'd like a second opinion. She does have arthritis in her back legs and we do have her on multiple medications for that, which seem to be managing it.

Please recommendations for vets only, not advice on how to treat her issues.

Senior dog muscle sprain

Our senior pup (12ish) was diagnosed with a muscle sprain 3 weeks ago. Our vet told my husband she can still walk some and that it should heal on its own, but might take longer because she is older.

She has good days and bad, it's worse right when she gets up, but it really hasn't improved. She isn't showing symptoms of anything more serious, but is there anything else I can do to help her improve?
