Unsure if I should upgrade now or wait - gpus
Hi all!! Sorry, I used to have a prebuild but modified it on a bit specific specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.60 GHz (4.40 GHz Max Boost), 8-Core 16-Thread
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB
Chipset: AMD B450
RAM: 32gb DDR4 3000MHz
HDD: 1TB
SSD: 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD
EHD: 4TB
CPU Cooler: im using a Lian li galahad 240mm which was a bit pricy
PSU: 750W 80 Plus Gold
I have been looking at 5070s since they’re around the $2000 mark, its a bit pricy but with some saving should be fine!! At the same time, 5080 prebuilt’s I’m seeing at $3000, so I’m unsure if these are really worth it (if it’s a substantial upgrade and really worth the upgrade now) or to wait until the 7 series? My parts I believe are from mid 2020, whenever the 5950x was popular lol (barely remember?)
Sorry if this question is dumb, i lean toward prebuilts because truthfully i dont get the process as a gal and i had some random friend swap my case out to make it pink, i usually just like a plug and play and then change it when it works for a bit lol
